Terms of Service

Last Updated: September 7, 2026

These Terms of Service govern the use of YouthIncenti by participating organizations, their staff, and the young people enrolled in their programs.

1. Acceptance of terms

By creating an account or using YouthIncenti, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

2. Description of YouthIncenti

YouthIncenti is a youth engagement and program management platform. It helps participating organizations manage activities and attendance, track participation and progress, administer points and rewards, communicate with young people, and coordinate support-service requests.

3. User accounts

You are responsible for the accuracy of the information in your account, for keeping your login credentials confidential, and for activity that occurs under your account. Notify your organization promptly if you believe your account has been used without your permission.

4. Participating organizations

Participating organizations set up and administer their own programs on YouthIncenti. They determine who may access their workspace, what information is entered, which activities and rewards are offered, and the rules that apply to their programs. Access to information depends on a user's role and relationship with the organization.

5. Appropriate use

Use YouthIncenti only for legitimate program purposes and in a manner consistent with your organization's policies and applicable law.

6. Prohibited conduct

You may not use YouthIncenti to engage in:

  • Harassment of any user
  • Threats or intimidation
  • Impersonation of another person or organization
  • Fraudulent activity
  • Attempts to gain unauthorized access to the platform or any account
  • Interference with platform security or operation
  • Misuse of another user's account
  • Uploading malicious content, code, or files
  • Any unlawful purpose

7. Youth accounts

Youth accounts are created and managed in connection with a participating organization's program. That organization is responsible for determining the authorization, consent, parental or guardian consent, and any other requirements that apply to the young people it serves.

8. Points, rewards and incentives

YouthIncenti points:

  • Are program participation incentives
  • Do not represent money
  • Have no cash value unless a participating organization expressly provides otherwise
  • Cannot be transferred between users unless the program specifically allows it
  • May be subject to rules established by the participating organization

Participating organizations are responsible for the rewards and incentives they offer through their programs, including availability, eligibility, and fulfillment.

9. Counselor and program communications

YouthIncenti messaging facilitates communication with participating program staff. It is not an emergency communication channel and is not monitored around the clock.

If you need immediate assistance, contact your local emergency services or an appropriate crisis resource.

10. Support services and external resources

Resource listings, referrals, and support-service information may be provided by participating organizations or third parties. YouthIncenti does not guarantee the eligibility, availability, acceptance, quality, or outcomes of any third-party service.

11. Wellness and emotional check-ins

Check-ins are voluntary and are intended to help programs support the young people they serve. They do not provide a medical or mental-health diagnosis and do not replace professional care.

12. Intellectual property

YouthIncenti and its software, design, and branding remain the property of YouthIncenti and its licensors. Content entered by a participating organization remains the responsibility of that organization.

13. Third-party services and links

The service may rely on or link to third-party services. Those services are governed by their own terms and privacy practices.

14. Service availability and changes

We may modify, add, or discontinue features, and the service may be unavailable from time to time for maintenance or reasons outside our control. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.

15. Account suspension or termination

Access may be suspended or terminated by a participating organization, or by YouthIncenti where use violates these terms, creates a security risk, or is required by law.

16. Disclaimers

The service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law. YouthIncenti does not provide medical, mental-health, legal, or emergency services.

17. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, YouthIncenti is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, or program outcomes arising from use of the service.

18. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by applicable law, participating organizations agree to indemnify and hold YouthIncenti harmless from claims arising out of their use of the service, the content they enter, or their violation of these terms. This section does not apply where prohibited by law.

19. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws applicable in the jurisdiction where YouthIncenti is established, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

20. Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated from time to time. The "Last Updated" date at the top of this page identifies the latest revision. Continued use of the service after an update means you accept the revised terms.

21. Contact information

Questions about these terms can be directed to YouthIncenti through your participating organization's administrator.
